"When will I get my order?" is the most common question we receive. Understanding the production timeline is crucial for ensuring your corporate gifts arrive before your big event.

The Typical Production Timeline

For most custom stationery orders, the standard lead time is 10-15 working days from the moment you approve the digital proof. Here is the breakdown:

Day 1-2: Proofing and Approval

Once you submit your logo, our design team creates a digital mock-up. We don't start anything until you say "Go". Delays here are the most common cause of missed deadlines.

Day 3-5: Plate Making and Setup

For screen printing or foil stamping, we need to manufacture physical metal plates or screens. This is a precise process that cannot be rushed.

Day 6-10: Production Run

The actual printing or debossing happens. This includes drying time for inks and glues, which is essential for quality.

Day 11-12: Quality Control and Packing

Every item is inspected against our 7-step QC checklist. We then pack them securely for transit.

Day 13-15: Shipping

We use next-day courier services for UK mainland deliveries. International shipments will take longer.

How to Rush an Order

Need it sooner? We offer an Express Service (5-7 working days) for select products. This often involves:

  • Choosing "Stock" items rather than "Made to Order".
  • Using digital printing instead of traditional methods like debossing.
  • Paying a rush fee to prioritize your job in the production queue.

Planning for Christmas

The Q4 gifting season is our busiest time. Lead times can extend to 20+ days in November and December. We strongly recommend placing Christmas orders by mid-October to guarantee availability and delivery.

Conclusion

Good planning prevents panic. By understanding the production steps, you can build a realistic timeline for your project. If you have a tight deadline, call us immediately so we can check our schedule.
